Russia Threatens Major Strikes as Ukraine Warns of Air Defense Shortages
Now that five years have passed since the beginning of the conflict, Russia continues to issue threats to Kyiv, indicating the imminent start of mass strikes against its military infrastructure and urging foreign diplomatic personnel to evacuate. Although the threat is considered psychological warfare by Ukraine, designed to hide Moscow's failure in the ongoing conflict and significant losses of manpower, it can still be quite lethal. Using the drone attack in Luhansk Oblast as an excuse, Russia intends to undertake acts of "vengeance" despite problems with recruiting soldiers and facing economic hardships. Although Ukraine has intercepted many drones, it has warned that its stock of anti-aircraft missiles, such as the Patriot missiles from America, is rapidly depleting.
